Live Event guest illustration

How it works

I arrive with my partner to the venue 30 minutes before start of the service. We then begin taking photos of the guests at the start of the event, then work through them throughout the day. People are welcome to come and chat and watch, and as your artist in residence I will complete my work whilst they enjoy themselves!

I use A5 size watercolour paper and use a mixture of watercolour, copic markers and watercolour glitter/ glitter glue where required depending on guests attire.  It can take approx 10 to 12 mins per couple portrait, depending on the complexity of their attire. It can take longer due to the amount of  detailed approach on watercolour illustrations to make it more personalised, while also talking to the guests as they watch the painting unfold. It will be packaged in a clear plastic for safe keeping throughout the event. 

Please note that we will continue to take guests photos and paint as they come throughout the event, but sometimes it's impossible to complete every single painting on the day. In this case, if there are photos left over to paint, these will all be completed in 3 weeks and sent out to Bride and Groom.

pACKAGES

• Standard Service -   £950
- 5 hours of guest illustration paintings done on the day. Maximum 60 guests / 30 couples on-the-day A5 watercolour paintings and/or studio paintings.
- A4 Couple portrait after event
- A5 Wedding cake illustration after event.


• Premium Service - £1100
- 6 hours of guest illustration paintings done on the day. Maximum 70 guests / 35 couples on-the-day A5 watercolour paintings and/or studio paintings. 
- A4 Couple portrait after event
- A5 Wedding cake illustration after event
- **A5 illustration painting of couple in the wedding attire on an A3 for guests to sign on the day**


• Deluxe Service  - £1800
- 8 hours of guest illustration paintings done on the day. Maximum 120 guests / 60 couples on-the-day A5 watercolour paintings and/or studio paintings.
- A4 Couple portrait after event
- A5 Wedding cake illustration after event
- A5 Venue illustration
- **A5 illustration painting of couple in the wedding attire on an A3 for guests to sign on the day**
- 45 x 60cm cotton canvas textured Acrylic Wedding Bouquet painting after event ( can choose to have oil painting if you prefer)

** Painting of couple in wedding attire for guest to sign card - this will be completed before event and brought on the day.

All other extras will be completed after wedding and posted to couple within 3 weeks including any extra guest illustrations that were not completed on the day.

I am Bedforsdhire based, and my fee includes weddings in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, London and Kent.

Travel fees outside Bedfordshire are usually 50p per mile for round trips.

For bookings more than 3 hours from Bedfordshire, I also charge for 1-2 nights accommodation at £100/night.

For any destination weddings please contact me for a quote.

Once we've discussed the details, we would enter into an agreement that outlines the terms, complete a booking form that will be sent to your email. This will include the cost, the size of the painting, and any other specific requirements. There would be a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the package cost to be paid after submitting the booking form. This is to ensure your event date is secured. The rest of the payment will need to be made 4 weeks before the event.
